I’m Maarten, a Rotterdam-based digital designer with over 20 years of experience helping businesses transform their digital experiences.

My expertise spans UX/UI, Visual, and Product Design, with a strong focus on creating intuitive, engaging, and scalable solutions. Through my work at All This and previous freelance projects, I’ve helped brands like NOS, WNF, OneFit, and Secrid not only revamp their online presence but also improve usability and user satisfaction.

Photography

Beyond my digital design work, I have a deep passion for analog photography. I love capturing moments on 35mm film with my Canon A1 or Rollei 35 LED, and on 120mm with my Yashica D Mat or Rolleiflex 3.5. The process of developing my own black-and-white film is a rewarding contrast to my digital work—slowing down, embracing the imperfections, and connecting with the tactile, timeless nature of film photography.
